Dr. Rosenbaum’s unique background provides insight as to why and how he created Raw Amour Chocolate truffles.
Soon after graduating from Tufts University, School of Dentistry, in 1972, Dr. Rosenbaum became one of only four or five holistic dentists in New York City. Besides not using silver/mercury fillings, his dental practice incorporated holistic modalities such as: cranial osteopathy, temperomandibular joint therapy, herbology, homeopathy, and nutritional counseling.
In 1989, Dr. Rosenbaum received a Masters in Applied Psychology degree from the University of Santa Monica. After selling his dental practice in 1992, he developed a social/emotional learning program for public school parents and teachers. Along with authoring three books in this field, this program has positively impacted the lives of more than 5,000 parents from New York City, California, and Colombia, South America. Raw Food Diet
In 2007, Dr. Rosenbaum became a practitioner of a raw food diet. It was then that he was taught how to make a raw chocolate torte that he has since modified to become Raw Amour. Marc’s ‘raw food’ friends loved the chocolate, but when he returned to New York in 2009, he saw that people with diets that were far from raw also loved Raw Amour.
It was at this point that Marc decided to test out the product’s commercial possibilities. For the past 3 years, his company has been test marketing Raw Amour in various venues as a way of discovering what people liked, perfecting the formula, developing a marketing plan, sourcing the finest raw/organic ingredients, and developing manufacturing resources to make their product available to a much wider audience.
