Dr. Rosenbaum’s unique background provides insight as to why and how he created Raw Amour Chocolate truffles

Soon after graduating from Tufts University, School of Dentistry, in 1972, Dr. Marc Rosenbaum became one of only five holistic dentists in New York City. Besides not using silver/mercury fillings, his dental practice incorporated holistic modalities such as: cranial osteopathy, temperomandibular joint therapy, herbology, homeopathy, and nutritional counseling.

In 2007, after selling his Holistic Dental practice, Dr. Marc moved to Los Angeles and adopted a raw food diet. He then began to experiment with raw chocolate and created Raw Amour. Dr. Marc’s “Raw Food” community in Los Angeles loved the chocolate, but when he returned to New York in 2009, he saw that people with diets that were far from raw also loved his chocolate. This is when Dr. Marc decided to do research to create a dark chocolate that was not only optimal for ones health, but also tasted delicious.

Our truffles are handcrafted in our Hudson Valley NY facility with a percentage of profits being donated to a not for profit organization that supports individuals with Autism.
